Current Position:
Program Director, KUH
Current Portfolio/Responsibilities:
• Manage the basic renal physiology program (KCK BRP), which supports
basic research on normal function of the mature kidney.
• Manage the basic diabetic nephropathy program (KCK AMDC), which
supports basic research on disease pathogenesis in the diabetic kidney.
• Serve as Project Scientist for the Animal Models of Diabetic
Complications Consortium (AMDCC), an interdisciplinary program designed
to develop animal models that closely mimic the human complications of
diabetes for the purpose of studying disease pathogenesis, prevention
and treatment.
