Leslie’s career at the NIH began in 2002 where she served 5 years at the National Human Genome Research Institute as a Program Coordinator in the Office of, then Director, Francis S. Collins. She has traveled all over the U.S. and Canada on behalf of the NIH to promote its training programs in biomedical research recruiting high school, post-baccalaureate, and post-doctoral students. Leslie also served the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute as a Program Technician in 2008 adding to her 10 year administrative experience from other professional career positions. Since September 2008, Ms. Leslie Saint-Julien served in the role of Office Manager at NIDDK in the Laboratory of Cellular and Developmental Biology under the supervision of Lab Chief, Dr. Jurrien Dean. She brings with her a wealth of administrative knowledge to her new role.
Leslie is a University of Maryland Terrapin and a Brooklyn, New York native. She loves writing, music, poetry, and dance.
