      • The Mentored Clinical Scientist Award to Promote Diversity in Health Related Research (K08) provides an opportunity for specialized study in NIDDK-relevant research areas for underrepresented clinician scientists. Eligibility is limited to underrepresented principal investigators who have a health professional doctoral degree or equivalent degree AND a MS in Clinical Research or MPH in a clinically relevant area.
