Executive Summary

The goal of this proposal is to provide support for the National Health and Nutritional Survey. Among other features, this survey has served as the key indicator of the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in the United States for more than 20 years. In 2024, the survey will introduce a newly revised kidney awareness question, and in 2025, will introduce measurement of Cystatin C (in cooperation with the CDC).
