Responsibilities & Activities
As a Scientific Program Analyst in the Division of Kidney, Urologic, and Hematologic Diseases, I oversee the coordination, logistical support, and facilitation of oversight meetings for clinical studies and basic science research programs (Consortia Management Boards, Contract Management Boards, Data and Safety Monitoring Boards, Observational Study Monitoring Boards). To support these meetings:
- Perform comprehensive Conflict-of-Interest checks to maintain rigorous integrity and transparency
- Review and generate reports on active projects
- Serve as the central liaison between Program staff and NIH-funded investigators
Additionally, I offer administrative and programmatic support for application renewals, notices of funding opportunities, and tracking of foreign components. I also serve as the division subject matter expert for the Research, Condition, and Disease Categorization (RCDC) system.
